Committees
In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Foundation - Division 17represents Rockville in division-wide fundraising efforts and grant program. 
Historian/Webmastermaintains databases for club history, member roster, directory, banner patches and club web site 
Interclubarranges monthly visits to other clubs, makes sure we do division circuit, interclubs to conferences, etc 
International Understandingpromotes cultural awareness among Kiwanis family of nations 
Kiwanis Educationprovides reminders of why we are what we are, Kiwanis little know facts, changes to bylaws, etc. 
Meeting Facilitiesmakes sure our club meeting space is available, beverages served, arranges alternative sites as needed 
Membership Growth and Retentionkeeps the members we have, brings in new members to meet our goals, helps create new clubs in Division 17. 
Newsletter Editorgathering pertinent information, assembling and distributing our club newsletter 
President's Advisor"I've been there, ask me" - helps the president out of sticky spots 
Program Arrangementsgetting speakers for club meetings on informative subjects 
Public Relationsgetting the Word out to the news media and other clubs about what we are doing and what we are planning to do. 
Service Leadershippromotes support for, and activities of, our Key Clubs and Builders Club; seeks to reestablish CKI Club at Montgomery college and start K-Kids Clubs 
Spiritual Aimscreates a greater community and club awareness of importance of human and spiritual values 
Young Children - Priority Onepromotes those projects invovling children neonatal to age five 
Youth Servicesworks with young boys and girls to help them mature as individuals, provides educational, community service and career guidance.
